Kabir Singh was raised the son of a career diplomat, educated in British and American schools all over the world, growing up between Kabul, Washington, Cairo, Houston, Kuwait and Geneva, as a part of the global third culture phenomenon.

He has a BA (Hons.) in History from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, an MA in Mass Communication from the Mass Communication Research Centre (MCRC) at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, and a Diploma in Audio Engineering from the School of Audio Engineering (SAE), Mumbai.

During his college years, spent time as a DJ, a sound designer and background score arranger for professional theater. He has designed for professional stage productions that have been performed in London, Colombia, Mexico, Singapore, Pakistan and at international theatre festivals like the Prague Quadrennial, the Hangman Festival in Korea, and at the Bonn Biennale in Germany.

He has taught a course titled “The Aesthetics of Sound Design” to undergraduate and postgraduate students at Rai University, New Delhi before moving to Mumbai where he spent 8 years producing varied media solutions in the form of videos, voice overs and sound which included producing a national award winning short film and sound design for feature films for award winning directors like Prakash Jha and Sudhir Mishra. Subsequently he expanded the range of media solutions to include design projects, websites, digital marketing, content writing and consulting.

His myriad worlds of video, voice, sound, music, animation, design, consulting and content production culminate in the KS Collective

The KS Collective includes Kabir Singh Productions a video production house, Sound Design Solutions a holistic audio solutions company & his voice over venture Kabir Singh Voice Over.
